Exciting partly because our Train Carriage is a film star, having appeared alongside Tom Cruise in a Mission Impossible film. Check out Our Story. The Wee Choo Choo opening times are shown below.
We offer an unforgettable journey through the vibrant flavours of authentic Thai cuisine. Mia and Isara McCallum, our Daughter-and-Mother team, own and operate the restaurant. Mia McCallum is from Phuket, Southern Thailand, and is passionate about ensuring that you enjoy impeccable service and a wonderful dining experience. Isara is our main chef, also born in Southern Thailand, and she brings her love for traditional Thai cooking to the heart of Highland Perthshire. Isara and Mia are Thai and Scottish and have lived and worked in Pitlochry since 2017.
Our wonderful restaurant is a destination in its own right. Step aboard our beautifully restored 1960s Norwegian railway carriage which has been lovingly restored to a bygone age of luxury and glamour and sits in the shadow of the Victorian station in this beautiful Highland Perthshire Town of Pitlochry. The carriage has an interesting history which you can learn all about when you visit.
So if you are after a fine dining experience in the elegant and luxurious surroundings of our carefully restored railway carriage then do join us. You will not be disappointed.
We so look forward to welcoming you to exceptional Thai dining. And we are licenced of course so you may enjoy a drink when you join us for a meal.
To fully enjoy our authentic menu please allow a couple of hours for your visit. All your food choices will be lovingly prepared from scratch to ensure that everything arrives cooked to perfection, fresh and fragrant – a real Wee Choo Choo moment.
