How much time should we allow?

If you have Festival Theatre or Enchanted Forest tickets it’s best to book your table 2.5 hours before you need to be at the event.

In any case, to fully enjoy our authentic menu please allow a couple of hours. All your food choices will be lovingly prepared from scratch to ensure that everything arrives cooked to perfection, fresh and fragrant – a real Wee Choo Choo moment.

Allergies (particularly nuts)

Authentic Thai cuisine often includes peanuts and other nuts, which we store and prepare daily in our beautiful but bijou kitchen. This means that while we can prepare dishes without adding nuts, we cannot guarantee any dish will be completely free from nut traces. If you need absolute certainty, then sadly the Wee Choo Choo is not the right choice today.

Wow! We enjoyed a fantastic dinner here while on holiday and wish the choo-choo could come visit us at home! The family that owns and operates the restaurant were lovely and prepare truly amazing Thai dishes. Both my wife and I devoured our massaman curries. Full of flavour, the meat was so tender really incredible. And the history of the train is super cool as well. A must visit if you’re in the area!

Hands down the best Thai I’ve had. Lovely friendly service including explanations of the curries and their heat levels. Feels very personal in the service and the atmosphere is warm, friendly and low key without the noise of a bigger restaurant and not to mention the beautiful decor. Gai Satay was out of this world! Can’t wait to return!
